Sydney Uni Soccer FCSydney Uni SFC – the club is usually referred to as Sydney Uni SFC, short for Sydney Uni Soccer Football Club. Page was moved (without moving the talk page) without discussion by User:Fenix down. Hack (talk) 04:58, 25 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm happy for it to be moved, but you need to show evidence of [[WP:COMMONNAME], you can't just say it is so. SFC is not a standard suffix for a football club. Fenix down (talk) 07:02, 25 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You don't do irony, do you? [1] [2] [3] [4] Hack (talk) 12:07, 25 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. According to the official site, it is usually either spelled out in full or completely abbreviated to SUSFC.[5] I'm not sure either of those is suitable for us though. So what to choose? The present form doesn't appear to be used anywhere. At least a few sites use the SFC one, though, and from the logo,[6] it is clear that "Soccer Football Club" is the subtitle while "Sydney Uni" is the main name. Hence the proposed title seems best.  — Amakuru (talk) 13:47, 1 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
