[edit]I changed the title here, removing "the" and pluralizing "brigade". Does anyone know whether the title was singular or plural in the original Arabic?
The singular seems to pass the Google test (299 hits for "Swords of Righteousness Brigades" versus 73700 for "Swords of Righteousness Brigade").
For some reason, it seems to be mostly Canadian sources which pluralize the title, which is why I thought it should be plural. Al Jazeera makes it singular, and presumably they would know the Arabic as well as anyone would, so unless there are objections I'll switch it to singular. --Saforrest 22:30, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
