If the articles are merged the weighting could become disproportionate because you can't have all of the information from Abbey Greyhound Stadium (a stadium that does not exist) put on to a page about a stadium that has existed for 73 years. Furthermore if you read the latest news about the changes the fact remains that it is not really a new stadium anyway but a major change of some of the buildings, the actual race track remains in the same position, it has just been made smaller. I am in favour of the merger but I would suggest a new section with something like 'Future plans' as the headline and less information than is currently on the Abbey Greyhound Stadium page brought across. One final note please be aware that these future plans have still not gone ahead and if you read the articles on Reading Stadium, Eastville Stadium and Milton Keynes Stadium you will see that the same company (under different guises) promised the same new stadiums at each of the venues and they did not materialise. The plans for a new Abbey Greyhound Stadium were scrapped with the track actually remaining in the same position but reduced in size. Redirect set up on that page because it is still Swindon Stadium. Would also suggest that if the prefabricated buildings are moved on to the site in the future that it is added as a renovation section under Swindon Stadium.
