Hmmm
[edit]10-7-2007 -- Its interesting how the wikipedia entry tip-toes around the fact half the women in the band are lesbians. Come on, people. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.170.137.131 (talk • contribs) 03:33, 7 October 2007 63.117.234.100 (talk) 21:46, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- Who cares & why does it matter? 63.117.234.100 (talk) 21:46, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- It does matter! If you do have a reliable reference to prove any one of the women is a lesbian, it may have a relationship as to why she would choose to sing in an all-women's band, because they sing music related to their heritage and life experiences. Thus, it would have an impact on what songs they choose, and why. And we do have a GLBT task group here in Wikipedia. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 19:26, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
Soundtrack work
[edit]Should the soundtrack for the TNT movie "Freedom Song" be included in this list? They provided much of the music for said soundtrack. Orville Eastland (talk) 22:24, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

Request for comment: new WikiProject for a cappella-related articles
[edit]Hi there! To any and all interested: I've proposed a WikiProject dedicated to a cappella. This would be a group of editors interested in improving the quality of articles related to a cappella. If you're passionate about a cappella—ranging from new groups like the Pentatonix to pioneers like Sweet Honey in the Rock, or perhaps pop culture representations like Pitch Perfect and The Sing-Off—please check out the proposal and share your thoughts!
Here's a link to the proposal for WikiProject A Cappella.
If you could see yourself contributing to an article related to a cappella (like this one), please consider joining!
