Wrong champions?
[edit]I think in some years, the wrong team have been declared champions.
If we look here https://en-academic.com/dic.nsf/enwiki/5299215 we see that in 1982 to 1985 and 2000 to 2007, the winners of the end of season playoffs are declared champions, not the team that finishes first in the table.
Therefore here http://www.speedway.org/history/1983.htm we see Njudungarna finish top but Getingarna are champions and here http://www.speedway.org/history/1984.htm again Njudungarna finish top but Kaparna are champions.
I will edit accordingly in the future, but would like confirmation that I have understood that correctly first. Rcclh (talk) 23:21, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
Probably right
[edit]I have checked several sources but they ony show or list the league winner as being the team that topped the league. However, the speedway.org website is probably the best source in regard to Sweden. The site has more info about Sweden than any other I have found and does seem to be the expert in Swedish speedway so I would say you are probably right. Pyeongchang (talk) 14:35, 28 May 2023 (UTC)
