The article name
[edit]@SeriousThinker: I have noticed that you created this article some time ago, but I have a question. Can you really justify calling the article "Swedish Lithuania"? The name you used for this article does not figure anywhere in academic texts about this topic except ONE (and one only) by Andrej Kotljarchuk. Perhaps there is a more frequently used name in the relevant languages, e.g. Lithuanian, that is more used?--Cukrakalnis (talk) 19:05, 16 November 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for the question. I think that the name of such an article is justified given the fact that this topic does not have a huge base of academic literature to work with. My belief is that the demand for sources should be proportionate to the importance and relevance of the topic. It was a brief historical period, which is also heavily politicised, so the fact that it's mentioned once shouldn't be all that surprising. Also, most historians tend to investigate the legitimacy and historical context in which the treaties were signed and not the administrational matters during the Swedish rule. So, I try to work with what I have. SeriousThinker (talk) 10:50, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
