Athletes

[edit]

According to SOC, 106 athletes have been nominated by them so far. Two more players will be nominated for the men's ice hockey team, meaning SOC has so far given a go-ahead to a team of 108 athletes.

These include:

  • 9 athletes in Alpine skiing (as well as team). They have 3 more qualified spots.
  • 10 athletes in Biathlon.
  • 14 athletes in Cross Country skiing (as well as both men's and women's teams in both relay and sprint relay). They have 6 more qualified spots.
  • 10 athletes in Curling.
  • 1 athlete in Figure skating.
  • 14 athletes in Freestyle.
  • 48 athletes in Ice Hockey.
  • 1 athlete in Snowboard. They have 2 more qualified spots.
  • 1 athlete in Speed skating. They have 1 more qualified spot.
  • Sweden declined 1 spot in Figure skating and 1 spot in Short track speed skating, as well as 1 spot in Freestyle Ski cross.

Apparently Sweden has also rejected one qualified spot in Alpine skiing, but has not rejected the other three remaining spots yet.
