I reverted to the edits because the cleanup was a bit too thorough. For example, the Gesta Danorum is not an Icelandic saga. The other links are useful to people trying to find this information (e.g. Hermann Billung). ~~
I reverted again because the cleanup was too thorough again and eliminated the most important Swanhild, the one who is the source for the name and appears in all the early sagas.Evangeline (talk) 19:29, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The cleanup was thorough because this page needed it. Feel free to rearrange the order if you have a better idea, but separating the real people from the fictional is thoroughly helpful. Also, extraneous details and links should not be included here. There should be just enough information for the user to decide which Swanhild article to look at. This page is only for choosing between articles, and should not include any original content. If the details are necessary for choosing, then they should be given in as brief a form as possible. No, I completely agree with you that real/fictional is a useful distinction. Originally the "cleanup" I referred to took out all the links, meaning there were names with no links, which is not as useful as names with links. Now every name listed has at least one Wikipedia link so that's fine. What "original content" are you were referring to? I didn't put in any. Evangeline (talk) 22:46, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
