[edit]May I suggest that this page be renamed Swami Ashokananda? Since a Hindu Sannyasin renounces his old name, and becomes known by his monastic name, it would be more appropriate to list this article under his monastic name. Moreover, he took the name Ashokananda early in life; for the majority of his lifetime he was known as Swami Ashokananda. Of course, it is appropriate to indicate his premonastic name in the text of the article. Sw.my 02:53, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
Also, his books are all published under his monastic name; that is the name by which he is well known.Sw.my 12:16, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
Since there was no objection, I moved the page. Sw.my 02:55, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Heart Poured Out Bio
[edit]Just a note: the book Heart Poured Out, by Sister Gargi, is a useful biography of Swami Ashokananda; could be profitably consulted. Devadaru (talk) 03:16, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
