Transfer controversy

[edit]
Player had apparently joined Watford on a five-year deal, and was to be loaned to Udinese for the 2016–17 season say Gent on their official website (see here) → Bedankt Kapitein! Kums pictured below in the wdsport.co.uk / 24liveblog link → Transfer tale: Sven Kums, is seen holding up a Watford shirt and according to the source arrived with Stefano Okaka on 29 August 2016. However there is absolutely no mention whatsoever of this on Watford's official website, only news about Stefano. Also the Football Italia, La Gazzetta dello Sport and Udinese's official website have stated that Kums is on loan at Udinese from Gent. See link to article → Kums è un giocatore dell'Udinese! And then of course there is also this from a major Belgian newspaper → AA Gent haalt Nigeriaanse opvolger voor Sven Kums --Kő Cloch (talk) 20:04, 30 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Gent have since included this on the Dutch version of the club's website → Bedankt Kapitein! This does appear to say that "Sven Kums today signed a contract for 5 seasons with Watford FC which plays in the Premier League." However can anyone who is a native speaker of the Dutch language confirm this? Although I am fairly certain that Google Translate has translated it well enough on this occasion, trouble is Watford didn't publicise it! --Kő Cloch (talk) 11:50, 13 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
