Enough Italian-language sources appear to exist that there's no reason to send this to AFD. The 90 day window for draftification has already passed, so it's going to stay in mainspace despite the fact that it is a rough, bordering on incomprehensible, translation. The lakes may be home, or may actually themselves be, a protected area. The article does not make that clear, unfortunately, and I don't read enough Italian to fix it myself.
