The headquarters of the Sussex breed in South Africa is in Bloemfontein (not Klerksdorp). Add the following links: Sussex Cattle Breeders Society of South Africa www.re.co.za — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.145.137.85 (talk) 10:47, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Standard of English - British obviously, but rôle with the circumflex is dated even there!

[edit]

The word rôle on this page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sussex_cattle#Use) may be spelled in a dated manner which is not consistent with similar articles in the same standard of English (which is British, as a primarily British topic). I'm loath to edit it for various reasons, but I just wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts. Ellenor2000 (talk) 15:38, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ellenor2000 I see no compelling reason for change of what has been written. rôle is preceded by 'traditional' in the article. Not everything has to be consistent. Different writing adds life.SovalValtos (talk) 16:06, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
