A tag has been placed on Susan Kuronen requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

[edit]If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -Majestic- (talk) 08:47, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
Are you sane?
[edit]The person is unimportant, but the fact that she is related to a court case involving the sitting prime minister definitely justifies an article explaining the backgrounds of the involved persons.
Move to delete
[edit]I'm sorry, but this sub-par "article" is about a person of no relevance to anything and of zero significance. Why does this worthless cunt have a page here??? She has done NOTHING to earn presence on Wikipedia. --194.251.240.113 19:05, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
Speedy deletion
[edit]I don't want to get into an edit war by removing the speedy deletion tag again, so I've used hangon even though I'm not the article creator. The article makes clear statements of importance/significance. i.e. "causing both uproar and intrigue" and "continued to make headlines". Also note that the article was kept on Finnish Wikipedia, so it seems a bit strange that the editor who added the speedy tag used as a reason in the edit summary that there was a debate there. Also the Finnish article has 31 sources, so it's pretty clear that this is a notable subject. Phil Bridger (talk) 10:31, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- I read about her in a news search for Finland. I'm not sure if she's Finland's Kay Summersby exactly, but possibly of historic interest.--T. Anthony (talk) 13:12, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
