HealthWatch
[edit]Under the Medical career section, it says: "In addition, Bewley works for various charities including Healthwatch UK (for treatments that work)"
HealthWatch was founded in 1988 and became a charity in 1991. To differentiate it from the NHS Healthwatch organisations that were created under the Health and Social Care Act 2012, it used the style HealthWatch with a capital W after the Department of Health refused to change the name of its new organisations.
Prof Bewley is currently the Chair of the Committee and a trustee but she is a volunteer and is not paid, so it doesn't seem right to say she works for HealthWatch.
HealthWatch has the tag line "An independent charity for science and integrity in healthcare"
I am also a trustee of HealthWatch, so I won't edit the page myself. Can someone else verify this information and make appropriate changes?
