Figures needed to illustrate the examples
[edit]Would be nice to have a picture qualitatively illustrating the unit cell of the reconstructed surface, its orientation w.r.t. unreconstructed surface layer, and atomic shifts (if any dimerization occurs). The notations like 2x1 are quite cryptic, since it is not clear what the chosen units/axes are (esp. for 111 surfaces).
