When I obtained permissions for using the pictures/images, why the reveiwers still deleting them or not approving them— Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.138.49.66 (talkcontribs) 09:48, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The permission you obtained doesn't apply to third parties. PhilKnight (talk) 21:56, 16 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Extensive copyedit needed

[edit]

There's the core of a decent article somewhere in here. I've cleaned up some of the formatting, and removed the conclusions section but this page will need extensive copyediting:

  • removal of figure numbers and cross-references to numbered figures (half of those figures had to be removed, so the numbering makes particularly little sense)
  • equations in maths markup, rather than custom formatting
  • lots of missing citations
  • general language edits needed (missing articles, rogue capitalisation, etc)

Note, significant questions were raised on the accuracy of this article's equations back in June 2020 (discussion at WT:WikiProject_Mathematics#Article_in_need_of_equation_formatting). T.Shafee(Evo&Evo)talk 09:43, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your input. A large portion of the principles part should either be trimmed down or removed; these should either be covered by surface plasmon polariton or surface plasmon resonance articles. The same applies to other sections as well; too many intricate details to follow through. I may work on trimming the "Principles" part (and moving the certain parts to other articles) in forthcoming days. Myxomatosis57 (talk) 13:32, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Title

[edit]

The title of this article seems in a way misleading.

"Surface Plasmon Microscopy" relies on the optical contrast of in-resonance versus off-resonance experimental conditions. Jakkawiki (talk) 22:02, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
