Not neutral
[edit]Needs a serious rewrite - the whole article is a laughably-written and utterly fawning advert for the school --Cruci 15:55, 9 October 2005 (UTC)
Over ten years later and it still reads as an advert. Mlleangelique (talk) 10:21, 7 January 2016 (UTC)
NPOV
[edit]This sort of thing is not acceptable under a policy of NPOV:
It has become infamous in recent years for the oppressive, vicious and commercial style of management, as well as for the overall distressed disposition of its staff owing to the recent change in management ethos, a change that has occasionally been likened to certain dubious historical governments. It has certainly strayed a considerable way from any Christian principles it once held. MRSC 06:57, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
I don't think that's true. Surbiton is a thriving school that is doing far better that the other schools in the area. As for the style of management, it is neither oppressive, vicious or commercial. The staff AND pupil atmosphere is very friendly and supportive and it is a very welcoming environment. The school is friendly and gives everyone all the values they need as young children and the beginning of adult.I truly recommend this amazing school which gets the best out of everyone. As for the Christian principles it "once held", you may want to bear in mind that Religious Studies is still compulsory up to GCSE, moreover, there is assembly most days for the lower school whereby girls are taught By all sorts of charities and stuffLinecony! (talk) 07:56, 19 May 2020 (UTC). Even the sixth form are not exempt from some of these assemblies. In addition to this there are communion services, rooms for thinking and quiet prayer, carol concerts in the church, regular visits from the local clergymen etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.153.14.187 (talk) 13:02, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
