Fossilised dung, but probably not from dinosaurs
[edit]The article used to define coprolites as fossilised dinosaur dung. It is any fossilised dung. My understanding is that dinosaur fossils have to be made of things less soluble than phosphate to have survived, so this is unlikely to have been dinosaur coprolites. Can someone who knows more palaeontology confirm this? LachlanA (talk) 07:11, 8 May 2024 (UTC)
