Wing
[edit]The photographs implies that it had a Variable-incidence wing, and Supermarine had experience with that idea before the war - but I can't find any reference to this, and perhaps the wing is just partially dismounted as part of the training process. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 10:54, 2 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Ashley Pomeroy: I noticed that too, but on further examination, I think it's simply that the flashing has been removed. The "opening" is on top of the wing, which would allow it to tilt down at the front, which is the opposite of what the variable-incidence concept was designed to do.
