SuperBit DVD List? and SuperBit Criticisms
[edit]There are so few SuperBit DVD's, why not a list? Wikipedia is a source of so many lists, I was hoping to see one here. And it also appears that SuperBit is now being regarded as a bad idea. Not only do next gen DVD formats make it obsolete, but if the highest quality picture is so important, why not just come out with a 2 disc version in the first place? That appears to be the case with the Matrix sequels and Star Wars prequels, where the first disc is so devoid of extras to in effect be SuperBit. And why did they pick some of the titles they did? Johnny Mnemonic?! I hope the 10 or so people who bought it enjoyed their purchase.
Will Next-Gen Formats mean the end of SuperBit?
[edit]Glad to see someone started the list. I knew I was never going to get around to it. And is the list certain to be complete soon? Will 2006 see the end of SuperBit if it hasn't arrived already? With Sony pushing Blu-ray (and winning, it appears), I imagine that they have no interest in SuperBit anymore.
Asterisks in list meant deluxe two-disc sets
[edit]It looks like originally the asterisks in the list indicated "Superbit™ Deluxe 2 disc set", but that legend was lost from the article, and now there's a separate sub-list of deluxe two-disc sets that doesn't match up with the asterisked entries. Does someone want to reconcile them, re-add the legend and remove the second list, or complete the second list and remove the asterisks? --Arteitle (talk) 06:48, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
agreed
[edit]i agree, something needs to be done about that, just adds confusion to the page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.98.211.8 (talk) 21:51, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
