200 or 201
[edit]In amateur boxing it is ok to say over 201 is heavyweight, but be careful, 202 pounds superheavyweight, no such thing in professional boxing. It 91kg and above! So that's like 200.7lbs. But in metric system countries,(total majority) they only look for 91kg. Not below!
- No, over 91 kg is super heavyweight in the amateurs. Over 200 lbs is heavyweight in the professionals. It's a pretty simple concept. MKil 18:37, 16 August 2007 (UTC)MKil
- Trust me boy, No its not, except when you use lbs.
- Say what you will, but all the major sanctioning bodies, Ring mazagine, ESPN, etc., all say that over 200 lbs (90.72 kg) is a heavyweight. There is no need to have this discussion again, since anyone looking at the evidence knows this is true. MKil 18:41, 16 August 2007 (UTC)MKil
- In non metric countries, yea, pay attention for once!
- Yes, and in metric countries heavyweights are anyone over 90.72 kg. MKil 19:23, 16 August 2007 (UTC)MKil
