Deletion

[edit]

What happened to the discussion regarding this article's deletion for its subject being non-notable? The text of thr article reads like a poor translation from Japanese, which raises copyright concerns, as no source is credited.Bustter (talk) 13:51, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Serialization

[edit]

I wish we could put the series' serializations on the page. I can't find anywhere noting this, I'm still looking for a "special serialization page" on the internet. : ) – 「JUMPGURU」@Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 01:23, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The table really needs to be redone to follow the other Jump articles. For serialization, see if their ANN pages have anything. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 02:12, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I was thinkin' the same thing actually.... – 「JUMPGURU」@Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 02:31, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image

[edit]

I found a image for Super Jump. Amazon has some good images, I though it was good because it has alot of well known series on the cover. (^_^) – J U M P G U R U @Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 19:01, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How do you download images so fast! – J U M P G U R U @Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 19:14, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
DSL connection :-P -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 19:17, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Wow....the minute I went back to the page... – J U M P G U R U @Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 19:26, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Should we also get an image of Oh Super Jump? – J U M P G U R U @Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 00:38, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, its not covered in detail enough to warrant an image. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 01:28, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Serialization (the 2nd!)

[edit]

I have just started the serialization list. It's gonna be tough, we'll need to merge both the lists and make seperate sections for Oh Super Jump and Super Jump: Archives (seasonal edition, unusually with many other manga magazines, it has serializations in it). The Japanese list was pretty screwey, which I used as a base list. -_- – J U M P G U R U @Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 19:32, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Huh...so the seasonal editions have on-going serializations, not just one-shots, that are different from the main? -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 19:35, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, it's weird, I know. Super Jump has three magazines that all have thier own serializations (They're very short series in Archives, though). – J U M P G U R U @Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 19:43, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
My bad, just a simple miss-understanding. ^_^¿ Super Jump Archives is just the past Super Jump series, most people mistake it for another magazine. – J U M P G U R U @Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 00:40, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh Super Jump

[edit]

We have not discussed why there should be no Oh Super Jump list. Although, I agree, it does look kinda weird. *_* But they're ongoing series, so I thought they should be noted, but what do I know. : ) You're the webmaster. ; ) – J U M P G U R U @Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 01:38, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh Super Jump is the seasonal work, right? It should be summarized with sourced prose in the features section, and perhaps highlight any highly notable series that have been included in it, but not a full list. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 01:43, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's not a seasonal edition. If it was a seasonal edition it wouldn't be coming out every single month. I don't really think the magazine has a seasonal edition. – J U M P G U R U @Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 01:45, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, so its a different magazine all together? -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 01:51, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's a spin-off, but it should definatly not have a separate page. ^_^ – J U M P G U R U @Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 01:53, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay...how is it different from the main? -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 01:55, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It has articles for anime, manga series, figurines, the whole otaku sort'a deal. And it has separate series, that should not be mixed in with the main list. For some reason the Japanese did that on their page, thet's why I made a complately separate list. :D – J U M P G U R U @Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 04:01, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It sounds pretty similar to the Super Jump except for the series being run? Does it run on the same schedule and everything? -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 04:21, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No the magazine is a different publication and has a different schedule for the series. – J U M P G U R U @Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 05:20, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It wasn't discussed and agreed on, the conversation seemed to have stopped. I thought that meant, "Conversation done, it should have it's own list, let's put it back now." LOL, I must be very wrong. – J U M P G U R U @Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 03:52, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, with everything going on, I didn't realize I hadn't answered your last post. If Oh Super Jump is a separate magazine, and it is notable per WP:N, then should have its own article. If not, though, then it should only be mentioned here without giving it undue weight by adding a separate list of titles for it and all. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 03:56, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Must.....have.....list! (kidding :P) I understand, it shoudl only have a brief mention in the history. Oh Super Jump doesn't even have a article on the Japanese Wikipedia, it has barely any sources. Your watchlist, must be crammed with articles, I have, literally every Jump article on the English Wikipedia on my watchlist. – J U M P G U R U @Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 04:09, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
LOL, current count is 1615...I keep trying to pare it down, but it just grows again. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 04:15, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh my gosh, mine is 19 articles lower than yours! O_O By the way, you also didn't answer back on the I Saw It talk page. – J U M P G U R U @Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 04:23, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Crazy ain't it? :P Going to answer now...-- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 04:28, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, Oh Super Jump does have a page at the JP Wikipedia. I don't think it should though... σ_σ – J U M P G U R U @Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 16:59, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
