MJ Super Bowl viewership

No one seems to have a clue, or just can't be bothered answering the following (Copied and pasted below), which I noticed someone had already asked, elsewhere:

"Very confusing…How is Madonna’s 2012 half-time, at 114 million U.S. viewers is classed as “record” views / “most watched” in various articles, when Michael Jackson is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for highest audience - "133.4 million" viewers watching the NBC transmission of Super Bowl XXVII on June 31, 1993 - and whereby more viewers had tuned into the halftime than the game itself? Really confusing and no one has ever noticed / or is bothered mentioning / explaining the confusing discrepancy. Anyone have a clue?"

I, too, find the figures contradicting, so if anyone can explain, I'd appreciate it.

Wikipedia is not a forum first of all to find answers. Second of all, if you want to change something, then please provide a reliable source. The statistics you mention is sourced to reliable weblinks. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 06:26, 5 September 2014 (UTC)

@IndianBio: Wow, quite the expansion! Well done, and just in time for this year's Super Bowl performance. Thanks for your hard work. ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:27, 31 January 2015 (UTC)

Thanks a lot AB, I remember you were the first one who believed in the article. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 17:30, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
Should the Background section appear before the Synopsis section? ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:41, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
