UK Focus

Here is an all American drink, yet almost every single area of this article deals with UK this, UK that! Ya know, America makes SunnyD and Austrailians drink it as well! TheListUpdater 22:00, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

I think it is an absolute disgrace that the majority of Wiki articles have a strong American focus, and the minute one has information from another country, someone can't take

Sunny D is an absolute disgrace of a liquid. It is quite possibly the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted in my entire life. Uk perspective... Ugly American perspective... who cares? How about attention is given to the "rancid taste perspective".

Discussion

I found it confusing to refer to the product as SunnyD and the company as Sunny Delight, so I changed references to the company to SDBC. I'm not sure this is the best solution, but couldn't think of a better one. boffy_b 09:30, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

Parts of this article seem to have been copied word for word from this article which ironically is cited on the page itself. Wouldn't this be a case of copyright infringement? -HumanZoom 09:44, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

Five Percent?

The reference to 5% fruit juice at the end of the advertising section seems misplaced.

"A rare look at the inventor of Sunny D"... hoax?

This photograph is claimed to be the inventor of Sunny D. Given the editor's lack of contributions (his one other image contribution looks very dubious) and the suspicious lack of detail, I suspect this is a hoax. Fourohfour 11:27, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Gelatin

Does anyone have a better source for the gelatin claim? The Beta-Carotene article never mentions it containing gelatin and I've never seen thsi claim on vegetarian websites. Ace of Sevens 04:14, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

I don't Know about that additive, but i think there should be a little mention about the bad publicity the product recieved due to all the animal testing done by proctor and gamble with it, paul mccartney went on a rant about it one time.

Vitamin C

HERRO ALL! on every bottle it says 100% Vitamin C. But on the page, it does not list one mention about Vitamin C.--70.190.36.152 (talk) 21:40, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Its now added. interesting, my niece was asked in high school which drink had the most vitamins. she said sunnyd. she didnt actually know, but i guess just absorbed the message that sunnyd is better than soda. well, the teacher giggled, and the class laughed. teacher said it was an ok answer, the class and teacher felt milk was better, and fruit juice. now its true that orange juice has about the same amount of C than sunnyd, but apple juice sure as hell doesnt, and milk has FEWER overall vitamin content than sunny d. the HFCS is a serious problem (and guess what, they dont seem to add it anymore!), but guess what: aside from calcium, sunnyd has more micronutrients than milk!Mercurywoodrose (talk) 21:53, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

Spelling

"SunnyD" is used on the official site, so I've changed the article accordingly. Going by this article, it seems it's made by "Sunny D Beverages" (with a space), which might be the source of some confusion. Adrian J. Hunter^{(talk•contribs)} 11:58, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
