Sundridge or Sundridge Park?

[edit]

It's Sundridge Park, not Sundridge (was as Chris suggests is in Kent). Jameshamiltonlondon (talk) 12:46, 29 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

List_of_districts_in_Bromley lists Sundridge Park as a district.
Can anyone provide a source for Sundridge being the name of the area? I've always known it as Sundridge Park, and associated Sundridge with Sundridge, Kent.
In the meantime I've redirected Sundridge Park to Sundridge, London instead of Sundridge Park railway station as it was previously. This way anyone else looking for the district will find this rather than just the article on the train station. If there is no further discussion regarding this here within the next month I'll consider doing some research. --Chris (talk) 03:07, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

List_of_wards_in_Greater_London lists Plaistow and Sundridge as a ward.
So I'm changing the word "district" in reference to Plaistow and Sundridge to "ward" now. --Chris (talk) 03:07, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Another notable resident

[edit]

"Centrepoint Ron" also known as Ron Nicholson maintained two large squats towards the College Road end of Burnt Ash Lane, the rear of which backed onto the old Quernmore School grounds. This was in the mid 70's and Bromley council spent a major effort in fighting to get them removed over the years and I believe Bromley council simply condemned the very large and valuable buildings and built a small terrace of modern houses in their stead.
