Review
[edit]@Leo1pard: I've redirected Sunda tiger here as I suspect that the page could be expanded to consolidate common information from the three articles as an overview of the subject -- similarly Asian tiger / P. t. tigris). ~Hydronium~Hydroxide~(Talk)~ 09:21, 9 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Hydronium Hydroxide: Considering how detailed the current articles are, I doubt if they would be merged here, since a similar thing was discussed about merging Caspian tiger and Siberian tiger, given their genetic closeness, but it failed, due to these article being quite detailed, but anyways, this could exist as a disambiguation. - @Leo1pard: Not suggesting merge, but rather that this page could be a candidate for expansion from the current SIA to a broader overview (Thought experiment: If there happened to have been a single head article first for P.t.sondaica, and the three existing articles had been split from it, what would remain in such a head article, and would there be any structural/content differences in the three specific articles?). Similarly Panthera tigris tigris (Asian tiger?) could use at least a similar SIA rather than linking directly to Bengal tiger. An alternative would be to instead link to anchors within Tiger#Taxonomy to avoid duplication. ~Hydronium~Hydroxide~(Talk)~ 11:24, 9 May 2018 (UTC)
