The edits that I plan to make are rather simple. I plan to add a soundtrack subheading and I will include the list of songs and the artists that sing them. The second edit I will make is to add a production subheading. In this section I am going to talk about how the baseball field that was used in the movie was actually built from a field that had been abandoned for about twenty years. The movie was also not filmed in New England because the spring season was too cold so the actual production site was in Southport, North Carolina. Within about 8 weeks the field was complete with batting cages and a press box ready to film. The majority of the people casted for the roles of the teammates were actual minor league baseball players. Only seven of the 35 people casted for the roles of the teammates were actors. The baseball players had to attend a four-week training camp within which they learned how to ignore the cameras on the field and to feel or act more as a team. All of the actors and baseball players had legitimate baseball practice everyday. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bostonredsox313 (talk • contribs) 17:29, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Looked up this article and noticed the plot summary was very short, and there was a little note requesting a better summary. So I watched the film in its entirety, and whipped one up for it. I did my best to not be too long, but not too short either. It can be difficult to tell at times what is too much and too little. So if anyone who oversees this page and feels it needs less, feel free to take a few points out. Like I said, I did my best. I also tried to include some of the summary that was already there, the beginning and the end of it. Aidensdaddy2k9 (talk) 05:36, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
