What exactly is meant by the phrase... developed by Trail operations at Sullivan and why is it linked to a non existent page? Was it possibly intended to be trial operations instead? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Peter b (talkcontribs) 16:56, 20 January 2008

See Cominco's Trail Operations. Vsmith (talk) 14:32, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The City of Trail, British Columbia was where Cominco had (still has?) their ore smelting operations. The large amounts of power required were generated by hydro-electric dams on the Kootenay River.
The ore was concentrated at a facility in Kimberley and transported by rail to Trail. 2604:3D08:2C7B:2700:C4FB:B956:1195:E4FD (talk) 01:49, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Photo(s) needed!

[edit]

I added an ore photo, but surely there are some historic PD fotos of the operation? I don't know the Canadian PD rules -- maybe a Canadian reader can find something? TIA, Pete Tillman (talk) 18:37, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
