Thio equivalents of ketones
[edit]Sulfoxides are not the thio equivalents of ketones - thio compounds are those where sulfur replaces oxygen. If you take a ketone, R2C=O, and replace its oxygen atom with sulfur, you get R2C=S, a thioketone. Sulfoxides, on the other hand, R2S=O, are probably best described as oxides of sulfides (AKA thioethers).
So I'm going to rewrite the appropriate sentence in the article.
