Correction
[edit]According to The Encyclopaedia of Islam, New Edition, Supplement, Parts 1-2, and other sources, Sulaiman al-Tajir is not from Siraf. The original manuscripts are lost and are transmitted by Abu Zayd al-Sirafi, who is from Siraf. The manuscripts were transmitted at port Basra, about 70 years afterwards by Abu Zayd. -Stephen DeSilva (19 April 2014)
