Procurement procedure in case of construction contracts

[edit]

Dear Fayenatic london, procurement procedures can be modelled as reversed sealed-bid auctions - the source is added to the article. Therefore, suicide bidding is a auction bidding strategy. You even thanked me for that edit 5d ago.--Geysirhead (talk) 07:04, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Geysirhead: I did, to acknowledge the value of the added citation. However, the Contexts section of {{Auction}} does not include Construction bidding or related topics. Suicide bidding seems insufficiently closely related to anything else in that template to be a useful addition to it, or to display it in this article.– Fayenatic London 22:44, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
No, I do not agree with you. Suicide bidding is actually an opposite of bid-rigging. Similar contexts for auctions are included in Category:Contexts for auctions, which is in the Contexts section. An finally, auction are not only used for selling, but also for buying.--Geysirhead (talk) 23:08, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
