Notability concerns

[edit]

I realize that this was already accepted at AfC. However, there's some issues which give me pause. Firstly, the only independent citation attached to the article was in fact about a completely different Sufi trail located in Palestine (I have since removed this citation). The remaining sources are a website's 404 page and a book that appears to be directly affiliated with a website promoting the trail and that is indexed in exactly one library according to WorldCat. Moreover, I've searched online in English and Turkish and the only other source I was able to find was this, which appears to be a blog post (although it is affiliated with an organization which may lend it some legitimacy. signed, Rosguill talk 22:24, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Rosguill: - hi there, you were right to remove the source, I misread it. In fact, I've found 2 more reliable sources...both on the Palestine one. So if nothing else I can now write an article on that. I'm going to continue to have a look, or I'll redraftify it (feel free to poke me or do so directly if I've done nothing in a day or two - busy times atm) Nosebagbear (talk) 22:28, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi guys, I agree this looks pretty slim, but there's actually a rather good "In the News" section on the trail webpage [1]. While doing nothing to dispel to impression that this is a business venture keen on grabbing coverage, I think this stuff at least demonstrates that the press has taken some notice. Therefore tagging "Sources exist". Wouldn't be too heartbroken if it went back to draft though, admittedly. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 20:57, 21 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Elmidae, good catch, I think the Turkish and French coverage is sufficient. signed, Rosguill talk 21:00, 21 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Looks sufficient, even if on the edge, coverage-wise. Nosebagbear (talk)
