History of the Suffield area
[edit]A.M. Pennie, which I assume is the same Pennie as the superintendent from 1957-?, wrote an article for the Alberta Historical Review, 1963, titled "A Cycle at Suffield" (http://peel.library.ualberta.ca/bibliography/9021.11.1.html). The article discusses the rise and fall of Suffield from the arrival of the railway to the failure of the irrigation works.
