... that Subwoolfer will be the second masked musicians to perform in the Eurovision Song Contest?ALT1: ... that Subwoolfer will be the first masked musicians in Eurovision for the last 15 years?- ALT2: ... that Subwoolfer claims to be the biggest band in the galaxy?
- ALT3: ... that the identities of Subwoolfer, who are set to represent Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, remain unknown to date?

- The article is too short (245 characters of readable prose) and is currently a stub. The hook fact is not stated in the article and therefore also not referenced. The content of the hook is also inaccurate: the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 is scheduled to take place in May 2022, so Subwoolfer has not performed at the Eurovision Song Contest yet. — Ætoms [talk] 13:19, 21 February 2022 (UTC)
- Ætoms, I fixed two things of what you said, I'm not sure if it's still too short. Europe2016 (talk) 16:32, 21 February 2022 (UTC)
- Article length is okay now, but the hook fact remains unreferenced, meaning that the DYK requirements are still not met. — Ætoms [talk] 16:52, 21 February 2022 (UTC)
- Ætoms, There is no reference for this fact, it's just knowledge, and I just know that the first ones were Lordi. Europe2016 (talk) 19:59, 21 February 2022 (UTC)
- DYK guidelines require that hook facts be cited to a reliable source. "Common knowledge" information are usually not exempt from this requirement. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 06:45, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Europe2016: If the hook fact cannot be referenced, the hook cannot be approved for DYK. If hook issues are not addressed, the nomination may be closed as unsuccessful. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 04:07, 25 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Europe2016: Please respond to the comments above regarding the sourcing of the hook. Thank you. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 03:11, 26 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Narutolovehinata5: I tried to find sources for this hook fact but I just couldn't find any. Europe2016 (talk) 06:35, 26 February 2022 (UTC)
- If that's the case the hook will need to be replaced with another hook that can be referenced. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 06:59, 26 February 2022 (UTC)

- @Europe2016: A new hook with a hook fact different from the original hook. That means a hook that is not about the masking. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 22:46, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
- Okay Narutolovehinata5, I will replace the hook later today. Europe2016 ~ talk ~ Eurovision 05:28, 28 February 2022 (UTC)

- Comment @Tai123.123: You shouldn't remove previous hooks when you add another, all you have to do is label it an ALT hook. BuySomeApples (talk) 20:56, 2 March 2022 (UTC)
- @BuySomeApples: I didn't remove the previous hook, if you look at the page history Europe2016 did it with this edit.Tai123.123 (talk) 00:39, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
- I added another alternative at ALT3, as I don't think ALT2 is a particularly interesting fact for DYK. — Ætoms [talk] 22:22, 2 March 2022 (UTC)

- ALT3 checks out. The sourcing seems a little flimsy to me, but the sites look like regular reporters on Eurovision-related news. The page is new enough and long enough. The nominator has no DYK credits (the creator has a bunch, but that's not the main driver for QPQ rules). This is ready. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 05:22, 6 March 2022 (UTC)

Other releases
[edit]Subwoolfer seems to have several other songs released on youtube, such as Turin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5bhCNvm1HY and dragma https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXu0FtvtoL4, as well as the breifly mentioned Space Kelly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yl4On_Vw3gE These may merit further mention, as this is a significant portion of their portfolio at present (43.230.176.232 (talk) 10:27, 2 September 2022 (UTC))
Is there a precedent for Wikipedia deciding what stories are fictional?
[edit]My removal of the moral assessment "fictional" regarding Subwoolfer's origin story was reverted with the summary "Oh come on". The page on Jesus' has many different citations on what parts of the story are either fictional or historical, so there must be separate guidelines that I can't find for different kinds of characters. Can anyone point to a real reason why this article should decide without any sources that Subwoolfer's origin story is entirely fictional? Sopastar (talk) 17:20, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
Band Activity
[edit]People are changing the status to past-tense without citations, yet the band are still performing at future events and have said in interviews that they are still continuing after revealing their identities. KarlGG (talk) 05:08, 19 March 2023 (UTC)
Identity of Luna Ferrari
[edit]I am pretty sure that Kristen Nicole is the person behind Luna Ferrari, it's made pretty clear on her Instagram:

I am not sure she also provided the vocals, but it's clear she at least performes her.
Consider adding this to the article. Thank you! Nukhebuk (talk) 00:55, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
