What about the monologue in Kobresia? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.223.169.42 (talk) 01:49, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
When asked about it Geir Janssen said (in December 1997 on an ambient mailing list) :
" The voice does not belong to a Tarkovsky-movie [Solaris], but to Karl Nikolajev, a Russian "biocommunicator" (telepath), that is sitting in a room, trying to "see which object is lying on a table two floors up. The Radio Moscow-sequence I got from my own shortwaveradio. 'This is either metal, or painted metal, cold surface. This is either painted metal, or, perhaps, plastic. Multicoloured..there's..Bright. Looks like..maybe it is a toy. The surface is smooth, but there are some sort of ledges. The finger even gets stuck..maybe these are some sort of inlays..or these are letters..or simply projections. Looks like a toy. Metal of different colours or plastic, painted metal. That's all'. "
Another slightly different transcription of the sample (taken from last.fm) :
" It is either metal or ... If it's metal, it is painted... Cold surface. It is either metal (painted), or, maybe, plastic. Colored. There is... Bright. Looks like... Maybe, it's a toy? The surface is smooth, but here are some projections. Finger sticks. Maybe it is... Some kind of dents... or... or it is letters... or just projections... Looks like a toy. Multicolored metal or plastic, painted metal. That's it. Stop. "
