I am removing the tags asserting that the article is "written like an advertisement" and "promotes the subject in a subjective manner without imparting real information". Clearly, real information is imparted, and the text is supported by reliable sources.
The claim that he "gained fame" for a a book he authored does give one pause, but the cited EGU source states that he "became famous" for this work. While I personally think that should be toned down, the sourcing is adequate.
