Talk:Subiaco Marist Cricket Club
Appearance
This page was proposed for deletion by Pegasus (talk · contribs) on 15 November 2006 with the comment: Non-notable club. Although it is said to have won "a number of" premierships, this claim is not backed up with any sources. Google gives only 45 hits for this club. [1] It was contested by 130.237.55.42 (talk · contribs) on 2006-11-17 with the comment: Number of premierships and national representatives included, with references. Re: "Non-notable club" (Deletion Proposal) - A club with 27 state championships and 11 national caps is clearly notable |

[edit]A proposal to remove this page on the grounds of: "Team in a lower league of the state competition" was deleted. As is stated in the article, the women's A grade team competes in the premier competition in the state of Western Australia. This can be confirmed by visiting the Western Australian Cricket Association's website, which states: "The SunSmart Women’s Competition is the premier competition for women in Western Australia." Subiaco Marist appears on the list of recent premiers (http://www.waca.com.au/cricket/women/grade.asp)-— Preceding unsigned comment added by Somerof69 (talk • contribs) 13:30, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
