[edit]Hang on a minute, if they are based in Watford, why do they play in the Dorset League???!!?!?!?! ChrisTheDude 07:46, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
- Well spotted. Fortunately they do play in Dorset [1]. — sjorford++ 15:02, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
Former existence as Panthers FC?
[edit]Was this club, as the club history on their website claim, the club formerly known as Panthers FC who competed in the FA Cup in the 1870s? They would have been (by far) the first West Country team to compete in the competition if it is true. - fchd 19:55, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
- The Dorset FA page mentions it too (see second paragraph under the photo)....ChrisTheDude 20:47, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. In Mike Collett's FA Cup history book, Panthers are one of the few old-time teams without any indication of location or anthing. I'll add some linkage between the pages for Panthers and Sturminster Newton United on my website then. - fchd 21:03, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
- I've included the dates in this article as per your site, Richard, although they differ from those on the club's own website, as I figure your research is probably more thorough :-) ChrisTheDude 21:12, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
