Homepage unofficial and outdated
[edit]The homepage www.studienstiftung.org is unofficial and outdated. Please only refer to www.studienstiftung.de which is the official homepage! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.5.58.163 (talk) 03:35, 3 December 2013 (UTC)

Neutrality / Advertisement
[edit]I tried to eliminate the advertisement-like parts. The problem is, though, that the foundation indeed seems to try hard to get the top 1% of German students into their scholarship programme. Therefore, I suppose, to a certain extend it is somehow inevitable to use a few terms, that may sound a bit ballyhooing. Please check, whether the current version is acceptable and if yes delete the "Advertisement"-Button. I left it just in case.--N.Al-Saratan (talk) 23:19, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
It is not called German National Merit Foundation
[edit]Can you please stop inserting that name without justification? If you who keeps editing this in are the domain holder of studienstiftung.org, please accept that the name you chose for your private page does not reflect the "true" english name. If you are not the domain holder of that site, please be taught that the official website is studienstiftung.de, and you should only use the english name they chose for themselves. I'd be happy to learn that there is more to that strange english name than i think there is, but i will not accept these edits until a solid explanation has been given. thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.35.24.8 (talk) 18:42, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
- Just as an explanation for those who read this: In the past, while today the official name seems to be the "German Academic Scholarship Foundation", names like "German National Merit Foundation" and "German National Academic Foundation" were used from various sides. Not everyone, not even those who have been scholars of the Foundation, will necessarily be aware of the current official translation of its name, if they have not recently checked the website. --89.15.112.128 (talk) 15:41, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
