Bottom template

[edit]

I created a new bottom template. The side template seemed rather out of date and I think it should be removed rather than fixed up. Banaticus (talk) 00:28, 2 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Student Loan Forgiveness

[edit]

Should we create a separate article that focuses on student loan forgiveness/discharges/cancelations? At this point, there may be sufficient material for the topic to have its own article. If not, perhaps a section will do; but either way, it's definitely worth bringing up the controversy because supporters want to protect borrowers against unmanageable levels of debt, while opponents aim to prevent taxpayers from having to foot the bill. 9March2019 (talk) 05:05, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Definitely enough content for a section. Notable enough because of so much discussion that it could have its own article, but I think it could be well summed up with lots of pro and con arguments in a section here, and would be better placed here in this article which gives it context: talks about who holds large debts (grad students) and who has trouble paying debt (those with years of college who did not graduate and for-profit college victims).....So I vote for having it as a section here. ---Avatar317(talk) 05:27, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
