Three different songs
[edit]I thought it wise to check the lyrics...
- http://www.lyricsreg.com/lyrics/jay+sean/Stuck+In+The+Middle/ starts I'm just sitting here, tryna forget bout all those years... - a bluesey dues song
- http://www.lipwalklyrics.com/lyrics/37771-clea-stuckinthemiddle.html I have never been I have never been stuck I have never been stuck in the middle Stuck in the middle You treat me right... - formula girl band stuff
- and of course clowns to the left of me,... - one of GR's most memorable lines, we don't need a link to that surely, most working rock musos know it by heart
So neither of the more recent songs is a cover or parody of the GR hit, nor of each other. Not that there's anything wrong with covers or parodies. Andrewa (talk) 05:16, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
- Good call, but I've edited your text a little to accord better with standard style for disamb pages. Ghmyrtle (talk) 08:48, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
- A definite improvement. Only criticism... it's overlinked IMO. MOS:DABENTRIES reads in part: Each entry should have exactly one navigable (blue) link to efficiently guide readers to the most relevant article for that use of the ambiguous term. Do not wikilink any other words in the line. (Their emphasis.) Andrewa (talk) 15:36, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
- Change it if you think it's important. I don't. :-) Ghmyrtle (talk) 16:19, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
