Notability
[edit]This is a well-known psychotherapy that has been discussed in multiple independent sources: a few examples, which could be used to help source and build the article, include:
- Family Therapy Sourcebook
- Diagnosis and treatment planning in counseling
- Handbook of family therapy training and supervision
- Integrated family therapy: a problem-centred psychodynamic approach Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 05:00, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
- I completely agree, Paul. Do you think you can add a few of these references into the page so we can remove this deletion notice? What nonsense, huh? --1000Faces (talk) 05:17, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
- I have integrated some of these works into inline citations within the article and others into the references section. There should be no doubt from this list that SFT is a notable and commonly-used therapeutic approach in psychology, especially within family psychology. As such, I am also removing the notability flag on Minuchin's page and will reference this page for support. --1000Faces (talk) 03:44, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
