hello my name is melody martinez i don't know if this is even going to get out to anyone or if it dose if anyone can help me i have been on the web for many weeks now submitting many request for information and so far i have gotten no leads im trying to find out information on my great grandmother i only met her one time back in 2003 rite befor she passed but i was cleaning out my attic an came across the box that was given to me of her thangs in it was her wedding gown two pocket testament league bibles a photo album and a madalion that says seventh centenary of st.anthony it also has date marking 1231 on one side and 1931 on the other the pocket testaments have date markings of 4/13/16 on one and the other has 1926 the frist one also has an address of witherspoon building, philadelphia, pa, u.s.a, i dicied to write on here because i looked up the files this site had on the strouse adler company corset factoy that is where my great grandmother worked for 33 yrs untill she retired so i was hoping someone maybe can give me any kind of lead to find out more about her wedding gown or any of the other items so i can find out more about her .so this is what i do know for sure her name was Emily Mae Harrison,Slater I dont know the yr she was born i do know she was 96yrs old when she died on auguest 25, 2003 that her last known address was 31 parker ave. west haven ct. and that she worked at the strouse adler company corset factory for 33 yr as a seamstress so thats it as you can see its not much to go on but maybe someone out thair knows her or knows where is a better place for me to start looking I GREATLY APPRECHATE ANY HELP please feel free to contact me by email with any advice or ansewers my email is melody.martinez47@yahoo.com (Pepimartinez (talk) 03:17, 31 January 2012 (UTC))[reply]
