Cut
[edit]I hope it's ok to cut "often play classical music" . I added Mozart & Haydn, without having lists of works at hand. Verklärte Nacht probably deseves a place on the list of transcribed works, if the Adams sextet is inluded. I do not understand the last sentence of the introduction about soloistic trends... Sparafucil 06:56, 7 June 2007 (UTC) and have guessed at your meaning, or maybe my rewrite of string section is what you were getting at? Sparafucil 06:40, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
Down under
[edit]It's nice to be reminded good music is written in New Zealand, but should "other music" become an exhaustive list? I cut Culpo in any case. Sparafucil 05:37, 16 June 2007 (UTC) got to go to music shop and click in violin and then click on buy now ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♭♯♮♮♮♭♭♭♭♭♭ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.2.169.92 (talk) 16:59, 8 October 2013 (UTC)

External link Brooklyn string orchestra
[edit]Is the external link to the homepage of the String Orchestra of Brooklyn appropriate? Of course links to homepages of all string orchestras in the world can be added, but it has absolutely no value for the wiki. Therefore I'd suggest deleting the external link. References?
[edit]I looked through the article and I noticed that there were no references. However, a lot of the information is based on the musical pieces themselves, so I guess the link to the piece that is next to most of the information acts as its own reference. Do we need to add actual references? ~~~~ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.5.17.83 (talk) 05:56, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
