[edit]even more fragmentary than the quintet in D Op.137 is the Quintet in C that he sketched in 1826 (a completion of which has been posted to IMSLP. Seems to contain- either courtesy of the editor or of Beethoven; it's hard to tell without looking at the source material- hints at themes he used in other works around the same time, e.g. the replacement finale of the Op.130 quartet the next year especially... - The Fugue in D-Major, Op. 137 is a complete if short work. It is the Prelude and Fugue in D-Minor, Hess 40 that is the incomplete work. The lead for this article clearly needs an overhaul. Graham1973 (talk) 17:42, 9 March 2014 (UTC)
