Premiere date question

I found conflicting information on the date of the premiere.

Notes by Kendall Durelle Briggs http://www.craftsburychamberplayers.org/notes/brahms22006.html say it was June 4, 1876.
The Klassika article cited http://www.klassika.info/Komponisten/Brahms/Streichquartett/067/index.html says it was October 30, 1876 at the Singakademie.
