[edit]This article only seems to address strike suits in the US (mentions 'some states' at the bottom). If this is case then it should say so. What about strike suits in the UK? Do they occur? To people that knew only about UK law, would this article even make any sense? I don't know much about UK law but I don't understand a) what the charge is that a person brings against the company for the purpose of a strike suit and b) why it should be expensive for a company to go to court if it wins. --Username132 (talk) 18:56, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- It exists in any country that allows shareholders to sue the company they own stock in. I added examples to make it clearer. --Kainaw (talk) 19:48, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
