CMRD???
[edit]I think It's unfortunate that the piped link from "On this day" reads "Colonial Martyrs Repression Day" , which is not quite easily intelligible. ""Baixa De Kassanje" Massacre" is used in one source, and "Colonial Repression Martyrs Day" at least wouldn't make one wonder whether colonizers or colonized are being either repressed or commemorated. - @Sparafucil: If you can determine which one is the better usage, then OTD will definitely follow. —howcheng {chat} 07:50, 6 January 2021 (UTC)
- It's not clear whether there's any official translation; this year's press release uses Martyrs of Colonial Repression Day (pretty good, I'd say) and then continues "The event is taking place under the motto '4 January – Memory of Angolan resistance against colonialism' ”. - If that's what the government is calling it, that's probably our best translation for now. If they change it next year, we can change it again, or maybe put in a footnote explaining the different English names. —howcheng {chat} 07:13, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
