Good work
[edit]I would like to thank whoever compiled this page as I think it is great!
I would suggest that the ratings could be added to make it more rounded.
Here is a link to find them http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2007/dec/24/tvratings.television

Music
[edit]Does anyone else think it would be a good idea to put down the music they danced to each week?
Not sure- it would take up a lot of space, and it hasn't been done for any of the other series. On the other hand I know in the past I've spent ages trying to track down what some of the songs were. There is a reference for this series (http://www.bbc.co.uk/strictlycomedancing/news/2007/12/22/49796.shtml) so I guess it could be done. Gingernut1015 (talk) 19:53, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
Judges' score table
[edit]There have been a couple of people making changes to the judges' score table in the last few days. I'm not going to keep reverting if there's a good reason to have this extra information, but to me this table looks messy and difficult to follow with so many different colours on there.
Some of the information is just pointless- for instance having highest scores highlighted in green, and lowest in red. The fact is anyone can see which are the highest and lowest scores by just looking at the numbers, and the green and red numbers aren't really eye catching enough to make a point about Alesha having most of the high scores, and Kate most of the low ones. There wasn't any need to highlight the eliminated couples in turquoise on the old table, because it was abundantly clear which couple had been eliminated when. Similarly it was quite obvious from the table that Kelly had withdrawn without needing to give it a separate colour. There is a column saying where every couple was placed in the competition, so I can't really see the need to use two separate colours to highlight which couples came first and second. I really think all these points are so obvious, that cluttering up the table with extra colours is actually making it a lot harder to follow.
In addition, all this information is available in the Strictly Come Dancing (Series 5) Weekly Scores article, which this page quotes as 'an in-depth version of the judges' weekly scores'... so if there is a separate article for the more detailed information, is there any need for more than a summary here?
Is there actually any good reason to change it back? Gingernut1015 (talk) 07:54, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
RFC impacting this page
[edit]Hey! I've recently opened an RFC regarding some of the colours used in the scoring chart for this and several other articles. You can find the discussion here - please feel free to share your thoughts. Thanks! Remagoxer (talk) 01:35, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
