Scope of this article

The WP:COMMONAME of this article is Stress (biology). However, that is not what it is about. It came into being as a 5-line paragraph on psychological stress, which is not what biological stress is. The article does not even mention nutrient stress. It largely consists of bits and pieces pulled together from other Main articles. In my opinion regarding its title, it has failed to provide information on that subject and deserves all of the templates now gathering above the article. Stress is defined in terms of stressor; stressor is defined in terms of stress

"Stress, either physiological or biological, is an organism's response to a stressor such as an environmental condition."

"A stressor is a chemical or biological agent, environmental condition, external stimulus or an event that causes stress to an organism." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.81.6.24 (talk) 22:35, 6 June 2019 (UTC)

Something's missing, or is it?

I'm looking for something in particular that I'm writing about and was unable to spot it in a quick scan of the article. An organism under stress tends to adapt to the stressor by taking on characteristics of the environment. It's the subject of adaptation. If a discussion of that subject is in fact in the article, I suggest making a topic heading out of it since it is of major importance to the overall subject matter, in my humble opinion. thanks. 2600:8801:BE26:2700:B04E:6472:186:FA99 (talk) 19:27, 5 September 2021 (UTC) Jim

The page should address the effect excessive stress has on the development of the brain by using this source [1] Jade.yacoub (talk) 13:52, 23 September 2022 (UTC)

There is an article that I found, that could be useful in the health risk section since it addresses the affects of excessive stress on the development of the brain. It is something that isn't profoundly addressed in the article yet, however I believe it is a pertinent topic to add. http://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0184311 --00:11, 23 September 2022 (UTC)Jade.yacoub (talk)
